Kamilah B
Mental Health Counselor-LP

I believe everyone has a story, can it is important and uniquely yours to share. It is in the nonjudgmental and compassionate spaces that one is able to transform their lived experiences into reachable life goals. My role as a therapist is to support you in finding your inner strength to weave together threads of your story.

I specialize in Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches to engage clients during therapy session. I have training in Premaritial Counseling. I also provide Christian Counseling for those who finds spirituality vital to their stories.

I hold a Bachelors in Psychology from Mills College in Oakland, CA, Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Master of Divinity at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have 10+ years working with children and adults through crisis, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, communication, goal setting, grief and loss, living with disabilities, and pastoral/spiritual care. I have experience working with individuals and families.

If you are ready to make meaning of your story, feel free to contact me. I am looking forward to a transformative experience!
